  Stopped for sandwich, tea and cake. Very well presented and good value. Beautiful sunny day sat on their terrace.

  Pot of tea, or cup of filter coffee and a flapjack for less than £2.50 seems to be highly popular order...ordering at the bar and then taking a number to be served at table...a pretty slow process, it has to be said. Queues at the bar can be irritating. That said, it is friendly enough, the drinks are good enough, the seating comfy enough and the vibe is good. Clientele is a mixture of ages and stages, but mainly older folk. A sun terrace overlooking the road and prom is not as bad as it sounds. Popular and low-level buzzy. Not at all bad. A friend stayed at the hotel part, and liked the food and staff too...Not sophisticated, but friendly and welcoming. One to have along with others in the repertoire of local cafes.

  Hotel is delightful. Great service, delicious food, tastefully decorated rooms. Nice added extras with the service provided to make it shine above others.
